This program has been successful for thousands of families for over fifteen years and will work for you. Below are the three steps to our program.
Summer Behavioral Camp
I have read many letters from moms and dads thanking Glenn and Sheila Ellison for saving their teenage boy or girl from self-destruction. These
are young people who are out-of-control, usually failing to get an education, running with the wrong crowd, disrespectful to every authority figure, a step away from jail. It is not surprising that family unity is being destroyed while contending with this disruption.
So I went to Summer Behavioral Camp at Camp Consequence (adjacent to the Jacksonville National Cemetery and the Montgomery Correctional Facility) for a day to see how these "miracle workers" do it. They are quick to tell everyone that their program is sound, but only God could deliver such amazing results. And while it is the children who are going through the camp, the parents have to make drastic changes as well, because it is usually the style of parenting which is provoking a strong-willed kid who is beginning to feel his oats. In fact, the parents must take the Empowered Parents course before the problem child is accepted into the camp. And then they must attend the first 3 days of the camp with their child. This is a lot of investment, but probably nothing compared to the cost of counselors, psychiatrists, and lawyers who have previously been engaged.
